Volunteer with Community Restoration Initiative Uganda

Community restoration initiative is a busy and vibrant place to work and there's always room for volunteers to join us and help out.
Just donate your time and energy to make a difference and experience life in Uganda.

Volunteer opportunities at CORE are extremely varied and involvement can range from a few days to a few months or longer or anything in between. All that we ask is that volunteers have an interest and desire in supporting the vulnerable children and their families that are at the heart of our work. You will not only gain experience working with a small NGO but also have an exciting time experiencing life in Kampala and seeing the highlights of Uganda - the 'Pearl of Africa'.

Volunteer at CORE in Uganda

Uganda is an extremely diverse country, with English as an official language, and various cultures and life styles.

It has an amazing climate, welcoming people and amazing vast range foods. It is not surprising therefore, that Sir Winston Churchill named it the pearl of Africa. The major diversities that exist in the country make Uganda as beautiful as it is.

Behind these beautiful elements, a lot of problems become visible, for which volunteers are definitely important. Poverty, economic disparities, major health problems like HIV/AIDS, human rights violations and gender based violence are part of daily live in Uganda. It is behind these reasons that Community restoration initiative rallies behind as a volunteer-based charitable corporation dedicated to helping young mothers, helpless children and youths.
